It is no surprise that Tim - who has so enjoyed the comradery and the beauty of the natural world that he experienced at Oljato and Philmont - chose an outdoor community service project as the cornerstone of his Eagle experience. With the dedicated help of his fellow scouts, today a 500-yard stone-lined walking path guides baby strollers, dog walkers, nature photographers, bicyclists and nature lovers of all description from the Palo Alto duck pond to the doorstep of the Lucy Evans Baylands Nature Interpretive Center and Harriet Mundy Marsh - at the heart of the Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve.
